The Language Academy is a K-8 public school that offers students the unique opportunity to become biliterate in either Spanish and English or French and English.

As a magnet school in the San Diego Unified School District, the Language Academy is the only tuition-free school in San Diego that offers French immersion.

Centrally located near SDSU’s campus, the Language Academy attracts students from all over San Diego county. Students are expected to meet the California standards in all subject areas, but also gain knowledge and an appreciation of the history and global cultures of the language they study.

Why learn a second language?
